NBCC Venue – Terms & Conditions
Effective: August 1, 2025
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of NBCC Venue’s facilities, website, and services. By booking an event, entering the premises, or interacting with NBCC Venue, you agree to these Terms.
NBCC Venue is operated by New Beginnings Christian Church, a nonprofit organization serving the Mesa community.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using NBCC Venue, our website, or booking our facility, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our services or facilities.
2. Reservation & Booking Policies
2.1. Your event date is not confirmed until a deposit and signed rental agreement are received.
2.2. NBCC Venue may deny or cancel bookings at its discretion for safety, legal, or policy reasons.
2.3. All event details must be finalized no later than 48 hours before the event.
3. Event Time, Setup & Access
3.1. Rental includes your contracted event time plus:

1 hour of setup, and
-
30–45 minutes of teardown,
unless otherwise stated in writing.
3.2. Early entry or late exit may result in additional fees.
3.3. Client, guests, and vendors may only access approved areas of the facility.
4. Venue Rules & Restrictions
To maintain a safe, respectful environment, the following rules apply:

No alcohol, illegal drugs, vaping, or smoking on church property.

Children must be supervised at all times.

No disruptive, violent, or unsafe behaviors.

Decorations must be pre-approved; no nails, staples, glitter, or wall damage.

Sound levels must be respectful and within local ordinances.

Host is responsible for vendor compliance.
-
Host must clean up and place trash in designated bins.
NBCC Venue reserves the right to stop any event that violates these policies.
5. Payments, Fees & Deposits (UPDATED)
5.1. A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your booking.
5.2. A damage deposit (typically $250–$1,000) may be required and is refundable after inspection if no damage, excessive mess, or violations occurred.
5.3. Late or declined payments may result in additional fees or cancellation.
5.4. All balances must be paid in full before venue access is granted.
6. Code of Conduct
By using NBCC Venue, you agree NOT to:

Engage in harassment, threats, hate speech, or abusive conduct toward staff, volunteers, contractors, or guests

Damage, misuse, or vandalize property

Conduct illegal or dangerous activities
-
Impersonate others or provide false information
-
Disrupt, hack, or compromise venue operations or website functionality
NBCC Venue reserves the right to:

Remove individuals from the property
-
Terminate communication
-
Stop the event
-
Contact law enforcement
…in situations involving safety risks, threats, or abusive behavior.
7. Liability & Indemnification
7.1. Guests and clients use NBCC Venue at their own risk.
7.2. NBCC Venue is not responsible for injuries, accidents, loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
7.3. The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless NBCC Venue, New Beginnings Christian Church, and all staff, volunteers, partners, and affiliates from any:

Loss
-
Injury
-
Damage
-
Claims
-
Lawsuits
-
Expenses
arising from the client’s event, guests, vendors, or activities conducted on the premises.
This indemnification applies inside and outside the building, including parking lots and church grounds.
8. Photography & Media
8.1. NBCC Venue may record or photograph public areas for safety and promotion.
8.2. Hosts are responsible for obtaining consent from their own guests as needed.
8.3. Security footage is property of NBCC Venue.
9. Website & Communication Terms
You agree not to misuse NBCCVenue.com or any communication channels by:

Submitting fraudulent, abusive, or threatening communications

Attempting to gain unauthorized system access
-
Interfering with website or operational functionality
Abusive communication falls under our Privacy Policy Exceptions and may be retained indefinitely.
10. Privacy Policy
Use of our website, services, or facility signifies agreement with the NBCC Venue Privacy Policy, which governs collection and use of personal information.
11. Accessibility
NBCC Venue strives to provide accessible services. Accommodation requests should be made in advance.
12. Cancellation Policy
12.1. Cancellations more than 14 days before the event may have deposits transferred to a future date.
12.2. Cancellations within 14 days result in forfeiture of the deposit.
12.3. NBCC Venue may cancel events due to emergencies, safety concerns, or policy violations.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Arizona law.
Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in Maricopa County, Arizona.
14. Acceptance
By booking, paying a deposit, entering the venue, using our services, or signing the Event Rental Agreement, you acknowledge and accept these Terms & Conditions.
